After the spreadsheet
A MIDP in Excel goes stale the day you send it
Kalma keeps it alive: it knows what was delivered and what wasn't, without anyone updating a spreadsheet.
Status of every deliverable
Delivered, on track or overdue, by stage and discipline, always current.
Linked to Forma/ACC®
Each file links to its deliverable by ISO code. Kalma reads: it never moves or edits your files.
Alerts and reports
A weekly digest of what's due, and the MIDP as PDF or Excel for the client, in one click.
Free early access while we're in beta. The email with your MIDP includes your personal link.
See how Kalma worksHow it works
- Starts from a curated catalogue of drawings per discipline and building type.
- Generates every deliverable you need, one row per deliverable with its due date for each project stage.
- Gives each drawing its ISO 19650 code (or a fully custom one) from the fields you choose to include.
- Leave your email and we send you the Excel: edit it however you like, or upload it to Kalma and the project sets itself up.
MIDP generator: frequently asked questions
What is a MIDP generator?
A MIDP generator builds a project's Master Information Delivery Plan automatically: the list of deliverables for every discipline, each with its ISO 19650 file code and a due date per Project Stage. Kalma's generator builds it from the building type, storeys, disciplines and stages, without an account.
Is the MIDP generator free?
Yes. Generating the MIDP and receiving the Excel file are free and need no account. The only thing we ask for is an email address to send you the file.
Do the file codes follow ISO 19650?
Yes. By default every code uses the ISO 19650-2 field order of the UK National Annex: Project, Originator, Volume or System, Level or Location, Type, Role and Number. You can switch to a custom convention and change the blocks, the separator and the code of each option.
What is the difference between a MIDP and a TIDP?
A TIDP (Task Information Delivery Plan) lists the deliverables of one task team, usually one discipline. The MIDP (Master Information Delivery Plan) brings every TIDP of the project together. The generator produces the MIDP already split by discipline, so each TIDP is ready to hand out.
Which Project Stage frameworks can I use?
RIBA Plan of Work (United Kingdom), AIA (United States), the French loi MOP phases, HOAI (Germany), or your own custom stages. Each stage gets its own due date, which every deliverable in that stage inherits.
What can I do with the Excel file?
Edit it like any spreadsheet and share it with the design team, or import it into Kalma in one click to track the status of every deliverable, link each one to its file in Autodesk Forma/ACC® and get alerts before anything is overdue.
